Terms

These terms apply to Party Night, the party game at partynight.host, and to buying 🎉 Confetti, its in-game currency. By playing or buying, you agree to them. Questions? Email partynightgame@gmail.com.

Who we are

Party Night is run by Strife Network, trading as Party Night, Lange Marktstraat 1, 8911 AD Leeuwarden, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce (KVK) number 63047438, VAT number NL002282661B45. Contact: partynightgame@gmail.com.

Playing

Party Night is free to play. Every minigame and mode is free, and levels, crates and most cosmetics are earned by playing. You can play as a guest or sign in with Google (or Steam in the desktop app) to keep your progress on your account.

Be decent to other players. Don't cheat, exploit bugs on purpose, or use names or chat to harass people. We may remove names, mute players or block accounts that break these rules.

The game changes over time: we add, rebalance and retire minigames, rewards and cosmetics. We never take away shop items you bought (see below).

Confetti and the shop

  • What Confetti is. Confetti is a virtual currency that can only be spent on cosmetic items in the Party Night shop. Cosmetic items change how you look, never how the game plays. Confetti and shop items have no cash value, can't be exchanged back for money (apart from the refunds below), and can't be traded, sold or transferred to other players.
  • Prices. 100 Confetti = €1. Shop prices are in Confetti; the euro amount is shown when you buy. Confetti packs cost €4.99 (500), €9.99 (1,100: 1,000 + 100 bonus), €19.99 (2,300: 2,000 + 300 bonus), €49.99 (6,000: 5,000 + 1,000 bonus) and €99.99 (13,000: 10,000 + 3,000 bonus); a one-time starter pack costs €2.99 (300). Prices include VAT.
  • Regional prices. In Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, India, Indonesia, the Philippines and South Africa, Confetti packs cost less and are charged in the local currency; the shop shows the price that applies to you, based on the country your connection comes from. Inside the EU and EEA everyone pays the same euro prices. The same packs give the same Confetti everywhere, and shop items cost the same Confetti everywhere.
  • Crates are never sold. Crates can only be earned by playing. Confetti can't buy crates, and nothing you can buy has a random result.
  • An account is needed. To buy Confetti you sign in with Google, so your purchases stay safe on your account.
  • Who sells it and how you pay. You pay on a secure Stripe checkout page. Payments by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Bancontact are sold through Link, Stripe's merchant of record service; Link's terms apply to that payment and Link sends the receipt. Payments with iDEAL are sold by us, Strife Network.
  • Delivery. Confetti is added to your account as soon as your payment is confirmed, usually within seconds. Items bought with Confetti are yours to use in Party Night for as long as the game runs; you get a licence to use them in the game, not ownership of the item.

Refunds and your right of withdrawal

EU consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content that is delivered right away, that right ends once you start using it. For Party Night this means:

  • Unused Confetti: refund within 14 days. Email us within 14 days of your purchase and we refund Confetti you have not spent yet. Tell us the email address you paid with and roughly when.
  • Spent Confetti (turned into shop items) can't be refunded, unless something went wrong on our side.
  • Something went wrong? If you were charged but didn't receive your Confetti, or bought something by mistake, contact us and we will sort it out.
  • When a payment is refunded or reversed (for example a chargeback), the Confetti from it is removed from your account. If that Confetti was already spent, your balance can go below zero and buying is paused until it is settled. We never lock your account for this; you can keep playing.

These rules don't limit any rights you have under consumer law.

Children and parents

Party Night is for players aged 13 and older (younger children together with a parent or guardian), and buying is optional. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before buying Confetti. Parents: if your child bought Confetti without your permission, contact us and we will help.

Your account

You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time (see the privacy page). Confetti and items on a deleted account are gone, so ask for a refund of unused Confetti first if you want one. If Party Night ever closes for good, we will announce it in advance, stop selling Confetti, and refund Confetti bought in the last 14 days that was not spent.

Changes and law

We may update these terms, for example when the shop changes; the date at the top shows the latest version, and big changes are announced in the game. Dutch law applies. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of your own country's consumer law.
